To grow the business, we knew we needed to work more effectively together. The team wasn't working together effectively, everyone was in their silos and we really weren’t collaborating for the business. Meetings were painful and something everyone dreaded, most discussions going round and round and no decisions were being made.
Although the team was dedicated and passionate, sometimes this passion was misplaced and people were more focused on getting their views heard rather than listening to everything that was going on.
Ellen worked with the team as a whole, as well as in individual sessions, to help everyone see what was going on for them and helping them overcome their differences to focus on what we were trying to create.
She gave us some techniques to make meetings more effective and to start to get things done more rapidly.
Now, everyone’s energy is focused on what we want to create, and we are going from strength to strength. Meetings are focused and effective and fun and we look forward to productive time together. The team not only works together well in meetings but backs each other up - we are now a united front to the business and we are seeing it in the results.
